Frequently asked questions
Is daylight saving handled?
Yes, automatically. Northern and southern hemispheres shift at different times of year, so the gap between, say, London and Sydney changes several times annually — which is where most scheduling errors come from.
What is UTC?
Coordinated Universal Time, the reference all other zones are offset from. It never observes daylight saving, which is why servers and logs use it. GMT is effectively the same but does shift in the UK.
How do I find a meeting time that suits everyone?
Set the reference to your own city and scan the others for a slot inside working hours everywhere. Across Asia, Europe and the Americas there is often only a narrow window — usually early morning in one region.
