Frequently asked questions
Is the end date included in the count?
No — the count is the interval between the two dates. From the 1st to the 3rd is two days. If your contract counts inclusively, add one.
Are public holidays taken into account?
No. Only Saturdays and Sundays are treated as weekend days. Holidays vary by country and region, so subtract them yourself for a true working-day count.
What happens when I add a month to the 31st?
It clamps to the last day of the target month, so 31 January plus one month is 28 February. That matches how most calendar software and contracts treat it.
