Frequently asked questions
How is the age calculated?
Complete years first, then whole months, then remaining days. Someone born on 15 March 1990, on 3 August 2026, is 36 years, 4 months and 19 days — not simply the year difference.
What about people born on 29 February?
In non-leap years their birthday is treated as 1 March for the countdown, which matches how most jurisdictions handle it. The exact age calculation is unaffected.
Can I calculate an age at a past or future date?
